Applicants who will be at least 18 years of age on or before September 30 in their year of registration who do not meet the regular admission requirements may apply under the special admission criteria. Individuals applying as a special admission applicant must have successfully completed RRC Introduction to Business or the specific subjects as listed in 1 above, and meet regular admission requirements 2 and 3 as outlined above.

REGULAR ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Manitoba Senior 4 including one English 40S/40G credit. One Math 40S/40G credit is recommended and
- A specified portfolio of art work. (Portfolio requirements are released in December each year and sent to the applicant after receipt of the application and supporting education documents. Note that portfolio specifications are changed annually.) and
- Participate in an interview
This is a special selection program. The selection committee interviews
applicants who have completed regular admission requirements 1 and
2 and whose portfolios are considered acceptable to the committee. The
committee selects candidates who have the ability to express themselves
in graphic
form (i.e., have talent in drawing) and who are interested in earning
their living through the practice of Graphic Design.
Note: Application cutoff date is February 28.
